As college costs keep rising, and students face the challenge of fulfilling the financial demands of a 21st century education, there has never been a greater need to provide support for today’s Theta Xi undergraduates. The Elmer D. Kaelin Scholarship
Elmer Kaelin is an outstanding Theta Xi who has served our region with great distinction. Each year, our Foundation is pleased to award a deserving student a $2000.00 financial award to assist in their academic pursuits on their respective campus. Your contributions to this Scholarship will make it possible for future students to continue their studies and have successful careers upon graduation. The Beta Sigma Educational Facility/Chapter House
For over thirty (30) years, countless Theta Xi men have had the experience of residing at 728 High Street in California, Pennsylvania. Students have made close friends, achieved academic success, developed exceptional leadership skills, and gone on to very successful careers with the support and guidance of Theta Xi and the Foundations Educational Facility. The Beta Sigma Chapter House has long been a tool for student retention and continues to this day to provide housing for members that have difficulty affording on-campus housing. Our California Educational Facility needs your donations today to provide the necessary upgrades and structural improvements to ensure continued positive experiences for our collegians. If you are an alumni member who has directly benefited from your residency in the Chapter House, or if you recognize the importance of supporting this type of living and learning environment, please contact a member of the board today about how you can support our students and our facility at Beta Sigma. Special recognition opportunities are available to alumni and friends who make significant contributions to the facility through the Foundation.

Pi Chapter CMU Foundation Trust Fund
Created in the late 1950’s, the Pi Chapter Trust Fund exits today for alumni and friends to contribute directly to our students at Carnegie Mellon University. When you give to Carnegie Mellon University, you can (and hopefully will) designate your donation to the members of Theta Xi Fraternity via the Trust Fund. These funds are then deposited into our very own university account and then distributed by the Theta Xi Educational Foundation of Pittsburgh. These funds can support our students in countless ways, including support for regional conferences, national convention expenses, chapter educational programming, and for our campus Educational Facility/Chapter House. The collegians at CMU are exceptional scholars. Your on-going financial support will ensure a legacy of outstanding academic achievement for many years to come.

Your Very Own Endowed Scholarship Program
Our students are facing the most expensive costs associated with receiving a college degree in the history of American Education. Like the Elmer Kaelin Scholarship, you can endow your very own scholarship to help support outstanding students in the Allegheny District to achieve their dreams of receiving a college degree at one of the districts outstanding institutions of higher learning. Below are a few examples of ways to endow a scholarship:

1. Name an Endowed Scholarship for your very own chapter, to benefit a student each year at your alma mater for academic achievement;
2. Name an Endowed Scholarship for a family member or loved one to benefit a student in a particular academic discipline in the District;
3. Join with other Alumni or Friends to honor an individual such as a chapter advisor, sweetheart, or housemother to benefit a freshman or student with significant financial need;
4. Endow a Scholarship to directly support a program such as our regional leadership academies or attendance at national educational programs for Allegheny District students.

The Foundation Board of Directors are very interested in hearing your ideas on ways to support our students with your very own Endowed Scholarship. Please strongly consider supporting our students in this manner – our students very much need your scholarship support today.
